NSS Cell Organises “Share Smiles” Donation Drive
The NSS Cell, Presidency University, organised the “Share Smiles” Donation Drive on 29 April 2026 with the objective of spreading happiness, supporting underprivileged children, and strengthening community bonding.
As part of the initiative, NSS Unit 6 volunteers visited Vidyagokula Charitable Trust on 28 April 2026. Students actively participated in distributing essential items such as groceries, snacks, fans, T-shirts, and other daily-use materials. The contributions were collected with the support and generosity of students and well-wishers, reflecting the spirit of compassion and social responsibility.
A total of 20 student volunteers from Presidency University participated in the drive, comprising 5 girls and 15 boys. The volunteers also engaged with the children through fun games and interactive sessions, creating a joyful and memorable experience for everyone involved.
The event was coordinated by Dhanlakshmi, Sai Ganesh K, and Ramkya K in the presence of Faculty Co-ordinator Dr Abdur Rahman (PT) and NSS Programme Co-ordinator Ms Renuka Bhagwat.
