Nexovate '25: Unleashing Innovation & Collaboration Nationwide
Presidency Schools of Computer Science & Engineering successfully hosted "Nexovate '25: The Next Wave of Innovation", a 24-hour national-level hackathon on August 29-30, 2025. The chief guest was Mr. Kishore Chandran (Founder & President, Dr. Kalam Foundation).
The event aimed to provide a national platform for young innovators to ideate, collaborate, and develop impactful solutions that address pressing real-world challenges. By combining innovation, mentorship, and cross-domain collaboration, the event aimed to nurture future leaders and problem-solvers while aligning student innovations with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The hackathon attracted an overwhelming 600+ registrations from nearly 89 universities and institutions across India, making it a truly national-scale event. The distinguished jury panel comprised experts from Google, EY, DXC Technology, Wells Fargo, and Imarticus Learning who, after a rigorous shortlisting process, selected the top 25 teams (100 students) who were invited to the grand finale at Presidency University, Bengaluru.
The Winners:
- Team Code Phantoms, BIET Davangere, won 1st place and a cash prize of ₹50,000.
- Team Fantastic Four, RMK Engineering College – 2nd place and won a cash prize of ₹30,000.
- Team Hacksters, Presidency University - 3rd place and won a cash prize of ₹20,000.
The hackathon transformed Presidency University into a hub of innovation, mentorship, and collaboration. The event not only produced impactful solutions but also strengthened the innovation ecosystem of the university, leaving behind a legacy of inspiration and motivation for the future.
