National-Level Student Conference on Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Social Impact

The PSoC Student Research Forum of the Presidency School of Commerce organised a National-Level Student Conference on ‘Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Social Impact towards Viksit Bharat 2047’ on 17 April 2026 at F Block, Seminar Hall 1, from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm. The conference provided a vibrant academic platform for undergraduate and postgraduate students from across the country to present research papers, innovative ideas, and entrepreneurial projects addressing contemporary economic, technological, social, and sustainability challenges. The event focused on fostering a research-oriented mindset while encouraging students to align innovation and entrepreneurship with national development goals.

 

The conference featured diverse thematic tracks including innovation and economic transformation, digital technologies and future-ready industries, social innovation and inclusion, and sustainability and governance for Viksit Bharat 2047. Participants engaged in scholarly discussions on areas such as artificial intelligence, Industry 4.0, social enterprises, ESG practices, and sustainable development, supported by expert feedback and peer interaction. Accepted abstracts were published in an electronic conference souvenir with an E-ISBN, and all presenters received e-certificates, with Best Paper and Runner-Up awards recognising outstanding contributions.
