On the occasion of the 77th Republic Day, the Theatre Club of Presidency University staged a street play titled Mahaveer. The performance offered a moving tribute to the brave soldiers of the Indian Army who selflessly sacrifice their lives to safeguard the nation.

Through powerful enactment and expressive performances, the play highlighted the spirit of patriotism, courage, and unwavering dedication to the motherland. Mahaveer effectively conveyed the message that the freedom enjoyed by citizens today is the result of the supreme sacrifices made by soldiers who place the nation above their own lives.

The play was performed by Ms. Sheik Farzana, Ms. Sheik Farhana, Mr. Dhruv Sai Reddy, Mr. Debotta, Mr. Durga Prasad, Ms. Ananya Kavya, and Mr. Omkar. The performance was well received and left a strong impression on the audience, fostering a sense of national pride and respect for the armed forces.
