L&D Prepares B.Tech Students for Campus-to-Corporate Transition

13-January-2026

The orientation programme on Professional Practice was conducted by the Department of Learning and Development at Presidency University for final-semester B.Tech students preparing for their upcoming internships. The session, led by Ms. Manni Garg and Mr. Naveen Selvaraj under the guidance of Dr. Umashankar K, focused on building workplace readiness through insights into professional behaviour, communication, and corporate expectations.

Designed using an experiential, learner-centric approach, the session enabled students to understand the transition from a student to a professional mindset. The programme was highly interactive, encouraging active participation through discussions, practical examples, and real-time application of concepts.

The session effectively enhanced students’ confidence and equipped them with the skills and mindset required to navigate their internships with professionalism, accountability, and adaptability.
