L&D Concludes MBA Placement Simulation Programme 2026

31-January-2026

The Department of Learning & Development (L&D), Presidency University, Bengaluru, successfully concluded its three-day Placement Simulation Programme for MBA fourth-semester students, with the final session held on 28 February 2026, focusing on CV Writing and Integration.

Conducted across 31 January, 14 February, and 28 February 2026, the programme was designed as an intensive, practice-oriented placement readiness experience. Led by Mr Debmalya Bhattacharjee and the L&D team, the initiative moved beyond traditional classroom instruction by placing students in simulated recruitment environments. Through live Group Discussions, mock Personal Interview panels streamed to classrooms in real time, and hands-on CV development sessions, students had the opportunity to perform, observe, receive feedback, and refine their skills through each stage of the process.

The final day brought the programme to a successful close. Students attended a structured session delivered by the L&D faculty, covering CV development from scratch, AI-assisted optimisation, and the use of industry-relevant tools. They then proceeded to the MBA laboratories, where faculty members provided personalised one-to-one guidance as students developed and finalised their CVs. By the end of the day, 119 completed CVs, each achieving a score of 95 or above on ATS benchmarks, had been submitted through the L&D portal, ensuring that every participating student possessed a placement-ready professional profile.

Across all three days, the programme recorded student satisfaction scores ranging from 4.46 to 4.62 out of 5, with feedback quality and session effectiveness showing steady improvement throughout the programme. More than 630 students participated, supported by a dedicated team of L&D and MBA faculty members.

The Placement Simulation Programme reflects Presidency University's commitment to going beyond academic preparation, ensuring that students are not only familiar with recruitment processes but are fully prepared to engage confidently and effectively with prospective employers.
