The Outreach Program initiated by the School of Commerce (PSoC), in collaboration with the ISR Cell, Presidency University, has successfully completed its first phase on 24/01/2026  with the active participation of 81 students, 15 faculty members, and 2 faculty coordinators.

 

As part of the program, a lake cleaning drive was conducted at Ittagallpura Lake, wherein students and faculty members participated with great enthusiasm. The interactions held with participants after the activity revealed a strong sense of environmental awareness and social consciousness, highlighting the impact of the initiative.

 

The School extends its sincere gratitude to Dr. Padmavathi, Associate Dean, for her support and encouragement, and to Dr. Poornima, Head of the Department, for her valuable guidance. Special appreciation is due to the ISR Team, particularly Ms. Neha Panwar, and all the class coordinators for their active involvement and contributions.

 

The institution also acknowledges the commendable efforts of Dr. Sathya and Dr. Aamir for coordinating the activity and facilitating faculty support, especially in accommodating students whose class coordinators were unable to participate due to health reasons. Appreciation is further extended to Ms. Chandrakala and Mr. Arun for their assistance in documentation and coordination.

 

The successful completion of this phase stands as a testament to the collective effort and commitment towards community engagement and environmental sustainability. The School expresses its gratitude for the approval and guidance that made this initiative possible.
