The Department of Mathematics of the Presidency School of Engineering successfully organised a three-day International Workshop on Graph Algorithms (IWGA2025) from June 26 to 28, 2025, at the campus. The inauguration ceremony was graced by University key officials, Dr. Vijayan Immanual, Vice Chancellor Dr. S. Sivaperumal, Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Sameena Noor Ahmed Panali, Registrar, Dr. Adbul Sharief, Dean, PSOE, Dr. Shrishail Anadinnni, Associate Dean, PSOE, and Dr. S.R. Sudheendra, HoD, Department of Mathematics, who addressed the gathering during the inauguration ceremony. The workshop featured distinguished panellists from both Indian and international universities.

Over three days the following topics were discussed by the experts: spectral graph partitioning algorithms, algorithmic aspects of Roman domination in graphs and their variants, Eternal Vertex Cover Problem in Graphs, Graph Pebbling, Games on Graphs, Dependent Random Choice, Szemeredi's Regularity Lemma and some of its applications, and Graph Partition and Graph Clique Algorithms.

he workshop drew participation from over 90 research scholars and faculty members actively working in the areas of graph theory and graph algorithms.
