The Department of Physics, Presidency University, is organising a seminar on “Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC) Enabled Unmanned Aerial Vehicles for Energy-Efficient Disaster Response” on Monday, 31 August 2026, at 9:45 am in Seminar Hall 4, E Block. The seminar will explore emerging ISAC technologies and the role of unmanned aerial vehicles in enabling efficient, intelligent and responsive disaster management.

The session will be led by Prof. Rajalekshmi Kishore, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, The National Institute of Engineering (NIE), Mysore. The seminar offers an opportunity for students, researchers and faculty members to gain insights into the convergence of sensing, communication and aerial technologies for next-generation disaster response.
