An industrial visit was organised for the students of Multimedia (2nd, 4th and 6th semesters) and Communication Design (6th semester) to attend the 17th Bengaluru International Film Festival (BIFFES), held in Bengaluru, India, on 3rd and 4th February 2026.

The visit offered students valuable exposure to a professional film festival environment through curated film screenings, interactions with filmmakers, and insights into key areas of cinema, including direction, cinematography, editing, sound design, and production workflows. Students gained a deeper understanding of contemporary filmmaking trends and the role of international film festivals as platforms for creative exchange, networking, and showcasing global cinema.

Overall, the experience was highly informative and inspiring, enabling students to effectively connect their academic learning with real-world industry practices.
