Presidency University successfully hosted India Today HR Conclave at the campus on March 25, 2025. The conclave brought together HR leaders, industry experts, and academia to explore transformative trends shaping the future of work, focusing on technology’s impact, workforce adaptability, and leadership in a rapidly evolving landscape. Discussions offered insights on building inclusive, innovative, and resilient workplaces.

The conclave featured a compelling keynote by Mr. Subhankar Roy Chowdhury (Lenovo), highlighting the importance of agility in the face of workplace disruption, the evolving role of AI in HR, and the balance between flexibility, productivity, and employee well-being. A panel including Mino Thomas (Adobe), Taruna Lohmror (IKEA India), Shweta Mohanty (SAP India), and Pasupathi S (Careernet) shared insights on making organizations Gen Z-ready emphasized inclusive, tech-driven cultures that foster innovation and diversity. In the last session, “Hiring with AI: The Big Rejig”, panellists Sunil C. (Adecco), Sunita Rebecca Cherian (Wipro), and Shantanu Chakraborty (Amazon) explored how AI is transforming recruitment through predictive analytics, skills-based hiring, and improved candidate experiences.
