Presidency School of Management organised a guest lecture for MBA students on “Strategic Perspectives on Income Tax Return Filing: Practical Insights for Future Managers” on October 10, 2025.

The key speaker CA Gnanashekar R., Founder of Gnanashekar and Associates, comprehensively covered key topics, including Form 16 & 16A, Heads of Income, Gross Total Income (GTI), Deductions (U/S 80C–80U), Rebate (U/S 87A), TDS, TCS, Forms 26AS/AIS/TIS, Self-Assessment, Types of Persons, ITR Forms (1–7), and a comparison of the Old and New Tax Regimes (U/S 115BAC).

The session concluded with a practical walkthrough on step-by-step reconciliation, integrating 26AS, TIS, and AIS with Form 16/16A, providing students with valuable real-world insights.
