On the occasion of World Environment Day 2026, the HR Department at Presidency University organised a Plantation Drive, bringing together faculty and staff members in a shared commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.

 

The University grounds came alive with enthusiasm as employees from various Schools and Departments planted saplings, symbolising not only the growth of trees, but also our collective responsibility to nurture a healthier and more sustainable future.

 

Beyond contributing to a greener campus, the initiative fostered teamwork, strengthened community bonds, and reinforced the importance of individual action in protecting our environment. Every sapling planted serves as a reminder that small actions, when taken together, can create a lasting impact.
