Fourteen students from the Presidency School of Commerce have successfully completed foreign language certification courses in German and French, demonstrating the University’s commitment to fostering global competence and interdisciplinary learning.

This initiative was launched by the Presidency School of Commerce in collaboration with the Presidency School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, providing students with the opportunity to acquire multilingual skills alongside their core academic programmes. The programme aimed to strengthen students’ linguistic abilities and cultural awareness, essential for today’s globalised academic and professional landscape.

In recognition of their accomplishment, the students were felicitated by the Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dr. Vidya Shankar Shetty, acknowledging their dedication and effort. The certification equips students with enhanced cross-cultural communication skills and improves their preparedness for international academic pursuits and global career opportunities.
