Presidency School of Management hosted a guest lecture on Dynamic Financial Modelling in Excel: Linking Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow for Decision Support on November 18, 2025. The lecture aimed to strengthen students’ technical proficiency by connecting theoretical financial statement concepts with practical analytical applications.

The expert session was led by CA Naresh Kumar Hotta. He guided the learners to independently construct, evaluate, and interpret financial models—enhancing their analytical thinking, precision, and problem-solving abilities.

By the end of the lecture, students were equipped to design and integrate the three core financial statements into a unified Excel model. They gained hands-on experience using formulas and functions for forecasting, valuation, and performance evaluation. The session significantly boosted participants’ employability by sharpening their advanced Excel capabilities and preparing them for industry roles in finance, consulting, and investment analysis.

The event was coordinated by Dr. Kushini Prasad and Dr. Megha Pandey, whose efforts ensured a highly impactful and enriching learning experience for the students.
