Field Visit to Bengaluru Habba 2026
Students from the BA English and BA Philosophy programmes at the Presidency School of Liberal Arts & Sciences spent an enriching and memorable day at Freedom Park during Bengaluru Habba 2026.
Freedom Park, the central venue of the festival, was transformed into a vibrant cultural space featuring large-scale art installations, interactive exhibits, and engaging play experiences for children and families. The former prison grounds evolved into an open, exploratory environment filled with puzzles, games, and sensory zones that celebrated Bengaluru’s heritage, creativity, and spirit of community. A key highlight of the visit was the Makkala Aata section - an imaginative and playful space designed for both children and adults. Students explored immersive installations such as Bengaluru-themed, life-size puzzles and creatively designed, board-game-inspired setups that encouraged hands-on learning and curiosity. The lively atmosphere felt like a living classroom, seamlessly blending art, nature, and sensory play.
Visitors were free to engage with mud play zones, interactive puzzles, postcards, and experiential exhibits that brought the city’s culture to life in engaging and accessible ways. Overall, the field visit offered a refreshing and joyful experience, celebrating creativity, exploration, and discovery in a truly unique setting.
