Presidency School of Law organised a seminar titled "Expert Insights: Navigating the Indian Securities Market and Investor Awareness" on April 11, 2025. The key speakers included Ms. Babitha Rayudu, Executive Director, SEBI; Mr. D.V. Sheker, Chief General Manager (Legal), SEBI; and Ms. Padmini Vohra, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, Transunion SIBIL.

The three thought-provoking sessions explored key topics, including creditworthiness and market stability – the role of credit monitoring, SEBI and market regulation – ensuring transparency, development, and investor protection, and the LODR landscape – challenges and best practices.

This event brought together industry perspectives and academic discourse on the evolving dynamics of the Indian securities market, focusing on investor awareness and regulatory developments.
