Event Report: The Debugging Séance

28-January-2026

The Debugging Séance, a flagship student-led event, was successfully conducted at Presidency University on 28 January 2026. Designed around a unique “techno-mystical” theme, the event creatively bridged technical logic with innovative problem-solving, offering students an engaging and collaborative approach to software debugging. A key highlight was the interactive “Code Graveyard” session, where participants worked together to analyse and resolve complex logical challenges.

The event featured a keynote address by Dr Robin Rohit Vincent, Head of PSCS, who shared valuable insights drawn from his 25 years of professional and international research experience. Conducted under the guidance of Faculty Coordinator Swetha Rajagopal, the event reflected the university’s vibrant club culture and strong academic engagement, reinforcing the importance of creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking in technical education.
