The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Presidency School of Engineering, successfully organised a webinar titled “My Story – Motivational Session by Entrepreneurs” on 5th February 2026, from 2.00 pm to 3.00 pm. The webinar was conducted for the benefit of EEE students with the objective of inspiring entrepreneurial thinking and promoting awareness of career opportunities beyond conventional roles. The event reflected the department’s continuous efforts to provide value-added learning experiences and enhance the professional outlook of its students.

During the session, the invited entrepreneurs shared their personal journeys, highlighting their early struggles, failures, and key learning experiences. Emphasis was placed on the importance of self-belief, perseverance, adaptability, and risk-taking in professional life. Students gained valuable insights into transforming innovative ideas into successful ventures, along with the significance of technical knowledge and problem-solving skills for engineers. The interactive and engaging session motivated students to think creatively about their future careers and was highly inspiring for aspiring engineers.
