EEE: Guest Lecture on Field Exposure and UN SDGs Successfully Conducted

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Presidency School of Engineering, successfully organised a guest lecture on “Exposure and Field Visits for Problem Identification: Aligning with UN SDGs and Exploring Emerging Areas of Technologies” on 27 March 2026.

 

The session was conducted from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM for students of 4EEE01 and 4EEE02.

 

The lecture emphasised the importance of field visits in identifying real-world engineering problems and developing practical solutions. It also highlighted the alignment of engineering practices with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).

 

Students were introduced to emerging technological domains and their relevance in addressing global challenges. The session encouraged critical thinking, innovation, and interdisciplinary approaches to problem-solving.
