Students from the Presidency School of Media Studies (PSOMS) and the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences (SOLAS) at Presidency University, Bangalore, undertook an educational visit to Habba Bangalore at Freedom Park. The festival offered a vibrant showcase of art, music, and traditional performances, providing students with an immersive experience of the city’s rich cultural heritage.

The visit formed part of PSOMS’ commitment to experiential learning, allowing students to observe large-scale event management, cultural storytelling, and public engagement in a real-world setting. Accompanied by faculty members from PSOMS and SOLAS, students were guided in analysing the dynamics of community interaction and event execution.

Through direct engagement with artists, organisers, and creative professionals, students gained valuable insights into cultural communication, logistics, and networking. Such initiatives reinforce Presidency University’s focus on bridging academic learning with industry exposure and cultural understanding.
