Drums of Unity – One Beat, One World, presented by the Department of Student Affairs (DSA), Presidency University, was held on 19 August 2026, from 2:00 pm onwards at the Small Lawn, Presidency University, Bengaluru.

 

The session was led by Madhu S. S. (@mad_whoooo), a drummer, multi-percussionist and drum circle facilitator known for creating engaging community and corporate drum circle experiences. Based in Bengaluru and working across India, Madhu is also the creator of World Rhythm Culture and the founder of Payana The Band.

 

With his guidance, students and faculty members came together to explore rhythm through an interactive drum circle. Participants played the drums, followed different beats and experienced the joy of creating music together as a group.

 

The Small Lawn came alive with vibrant rhythms and enthusiastic participation as students and faculty joined in, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere.

 

Drums of Unity successfully brought the Presidency University community together through the shared language of rhythm, leaving participants with an energetic and memorable experience.
