Dept of L&D Hosts Knowledge-Sharing Session with Sharnbasva University

The Department of Learning & Development at Presidency University, Bengaluru, hosted a distinguished faculty delegation from Sharnbasva University, Kalaburagi, for a knowledge-sharing and discussion session focused on best practices in Learning & Development.
The delegation comprised Shri Neeraj S. Tadkal, Chairperson – Learning and Development Cell, Sharnbasva University, and Dr Suma S, Associate Professor, Faculty of Engineering and Technology (Exclusively for Women), Sharnbasva University. The delegates visited the Presidency University campus on 17 August 2026 for a structured institutional interaction centred on contemporary approaches and practices in Learning & Development.
The session, held at the Department of Learning & Development, featured discussions on best practices, innovative approaches and initiatives in Learning & Development. The interaction also provided the visiting delegation with an opportunity to understand the functioning of the department and engage in professional dialogue with the L&D team.
The session fostered a meaningful exchange of perspectives between the visiting delegates and the Soft Skills and Aptitude Training teams, providing a valuable platform to share experiences, approaches and ideas related to learner development and institutional training practices.
The interaction reflected the spirit of continuous learning, professional collaboration and knowledge exchange that underpins effective Learning & Development practices. The visit also reinforced the importance of cross-institutional engagement in strengthening approaches to learner development and enhancing institutional training initiatives.
