The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, School of Engineering, Presidency University, formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ARK Infosolutions Pvt. Ltd. on 20 May 2026 at the Vice-Chancellor’s Board Room.

 

The collaboration marks a significant step towards strengthening academia–industry engagement and reflects a shared commitment to equipping students with industry-relevant knowledge, practical exposure and emerging technology skills. The partnership is expected to create opportunities for innovation, experiential learning and professional development for students and faculty members alike.

 

The MoU signing ceremony was attended by several distinguished dignitaries from the University, including Dr. Thiruvengadam S. J., Dr. Sivaperumal S, Dr. Venkateswaran, Dr. Ramesh Sengottuvelu, Dr. Rajiv Ranjan Singh and Dr. Shoukath Ali K.

 

Also present were Dr. Shakkeera L and Dr. Shanmugrathinam G.

 

Representing the industry partner were Mr. J Visweswaran and Mr. Prashanth A.

 

The collaboration is expected to facilitate knowledge exchange, industry-oriented training initiatives, technology-driven projects and enhanced learning opportunities that will benefit students in developing future-ready competencies.
