Objective of the Guest Lecture

 

The guest lecture aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the role of power electronic converters in modern solar PV systems. It will focus on practical aspects of power conversion, inverters, algorithms and power-conditioning techniques for efficient and reliable energy conversion.

 

The session will cover key areas including converter selection, control strategies, system efficiency, power quality and grid integration. It will also familiarise participants with industry practices, emerging technologies and practical challenges in solar PV applications.

 

Ultimately, the programme aims to enhance students’ technical knowledge and prepare them for real-world applications in renewable energy, as well as future career opportunities in the field.
