Dept of EEE Hosts Guest Lecture on Personality, Perspective & Purpose

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Presidency School of Engineering, successfully organised a guest lecture on “Beyond the Degree – Personality, Perspective & Purpose: Living with Goals”. The programme focused on enhancing students’ overall personality development and helping them understand the importance of positive perspectives, purposeful living, and effective goal setting for personal and professional success.

 

The guest lecture provided students with valuable insights into self-awareness, self-confidence, communication skills, leadership qualities, emotional intelligence, decision-making, and a growth-oriented mindset. The session emphasised the importance of identifying personal values, setting meaningful goals, managing time effectively, staying motivated, adapting to challenges, and developing a clear sense of purpose.

 

Delivered through practical perspectives and relatable examples, the session enabled students to explore effective approaches to overcoming challenges, maintaining a positive attitude, making informed career choices, and achieving a balanced personal and professional life.
