The ISR Cell of Presidency University, in association with the Panchachethana Foundation, is organising Compassion in Action — a Senior Citizen Engagement & Geriatric Care Outreach One Health Initiative Programme — today at the Punahchethana Foundation.

 

Organised under the School of Allied Health Sciences (SOAHS), the programme aims to foster compassion, empathy, and community engagement through meaningful interactions and outreach activities focused on senior citizen care and wellbeing.

 

The initiative brings together students and healthcare professionals to promote awareness of geriatric care while encouraging socially responsible healthcare practices. Through this outreach programme, participants will have the opportunity to engage with elderly individuals, understand their healthcare needs, and contribute towards creating a supportive and inclusive community environment.

 

The programme will commence after 10:30 AM and reflects the University’s continued commitment towards community service and holistic healthcare initiatives.
