Bollywood Day 2026 was successfully organised by the third-year students of the School of Media Studies (SOMS), celebrating the vibrant culture, creativity and entertainment of Indian cinema. The event provided SOMS students with an engaging platform to showcase their talent, creativity, confidence and passion for Bollywood.

The celebration featured a range of exciting activities, including a Bollywood-themed fashion show, an Indian cinema quiz and a one-minute advertisement creation competition, alongside several other engaging contests inspired by Indian cinema. Students enthusiastically participated by portraying popular Bollywood characters through creative costumes, performances and presentations.

The event was coordinated by Mr Rahul Dadhich, Assistant Professor at SOMS, in association with senior faculty members of the School of Media Studies. Faculty members also actively contributed by serving as judges for the various competitions and activities.

Bollywood Day 2026 successfully blended entertainment, creativity, teamwork and learning, giving students an opportunity to explore their artistic talents and media skills while celebrating the rich and diverse spirit of Indian cinema.
