Presidency School of Computer Science & Engineering successfully organised a three-day AICTE-ATAL VAANI workshop from July 24 to 26, 2025. The programmer aimed to provide a comprehensive platform for participants to explore the intersection of artificial intelligence and medical data analytics. The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from both external and internal faculty members, including members from the Presidency School of CSE and Presidency School of IS.  

The inaugural session was graced by the presence of key officials – Dr. Sivaperumal S., Hon’ble Pro Vice Chancellor & Director – IR, Dr. Duraipandian N., Dean, PSCSE & PSIS. 

The workshop helped the participants to: 

• Understand AI applications in real-time medical imaging and healthcare analytics.  
• Gain practical experience with machine learning and deep learning libraries.  
• Build cross-domain knowledge involving AI, healthcare, and data science.  
• Develop problem-solving capabilities for real-world healthcare challenges.  
• Foster regional language-based AI education for inclusive growth.  
• Strengthen research, innovation, and skill development in the healthcare AI sector.
