The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (PSCS), Presidency University, organised a seminar titled “AI Now & Next: Current Trends Shaping the Intelligent Future” on 6 February 2026 at DGL03. The seminar aimed to provide students with a comprehensive overview of the current state of Artificial Intelligence and its growing influence on industry, education, and society. The session was delivered by Sasank Majeti, a corporate trainer specialising in Data and AI, who shared practical insights into real-world AI adoption and future-ready skill development.

The seminar explored topics such as enterprise-scale AI adoption, ethical and responsible AI practices, human–AI collaboration, and emerging research trends. Through interactive discussions and an engaging Q&A session, students gained clarity on industry expectations, career opportunities, and the importance of continuous learning in an AI-driven world. Overall, the event enhanced participants’ understanding of current and future AI trends, motivated them to strengthen their technical and analytical skills, and prepared them for academic and professional growth in intelligent technologies.
