AAROHAN, the Commerce and Finance Club of the Presidency School of Commerce, successfully conducted a 5-day stock market simulation event titled “The Big Shot” from May 5 to 9, 2025. The competition offered students a unique opportunity to experience paper trading in equities using virtual money. Designed to help participants apply their market knowledge without financial risk, the event attracted 295 participants from both B.Com and BBA programmes.

Students explored trading strategies, gained insights about real-time market dynamics, and enhanced their investment decision-making skills through the mobile app platform. Mr. Aniket Sarkar from BBA 6th Semester emerged as the winner for achieving the highest portfolio value. He was awarded a cash prize of ₹1,000 and a certificate of appreciation, presented by Dr. Saba Inamdar, HOD. This event was not solely about winning—it served as a valuable platform for learning, practical application, and professional growth within the ever-evolving field of finance.
