I chose Presidency University because it was the only university in Bengaluru offering a program in petroleum engineering, and I am delighted to say that it was the right decision I made! Talking about the department of petroleum, the faculty and the facilities provided were top notch.

The faculty are instrumental in enabling you to learn difficult concepts with ease. They will always welcome you whenever you have any queries and encourage you too. HOD Dr. Suman Paul and Dr. Bairab Gogoi inspired me the most. The four dedicated labs helped us gain practical knowledge in petroleum. We organized various co-curricular activities like SPE and AAPG which helped us gain insights in our field. Other events, like Mud Mania, etc., gave us a platform to showcase our skill sets.

The infrastructure, other cultural activities, food courts, transportation, and positive atmosphere make Presidency University truly inspiring! I would surely recommend Presidency University to every aspiring engineer!
