The School of Design at Presidency University conducted a workshop on 'Simple Pattern Development' for fashion design students on April 18–20, 2024. The resource person was Mr. Mohammad Ismail, Consultant and Advisor, Raymond Mumbai, and Founder of the e-learning APP SGPM (School of Garment Pattern Making). Mr. Ismail has also authored six pattern-making books.

In the workshop, students learned various techniques of pattern development and personalization of developed patterns, as well as cutting and finishing the developed garment.
