The School of Law conducted a comprehensive two-week orientation program for the freshmen from July 15-26, 2024. The ten-day session was designed to facilitate a smooth transition into academic life, building a sense of community and offering essential guidance.

The key highlights of the orientation included an address by Dr. Saroj Bohra's (Sharma), Dean, School of Law, who introduced the school. Various other academic and non-academic departmental heads delivered presentations detailing their various functions and the support available to students during their time at the university. The program also featured emotional wellness sessions, committee orientations, and interactive activities. Distinguished alumni Ms. Shraddha Sharma, Adv. Ashish Ram, and Ms. Sindhu S. Patil shared their valuable insights on diverse legal careers, inspiring incoming students with their experiences and guidance.

Additionally, the orientation also featured an industry expert session by Mr. B. Ramaswamy from Fox & Mandal Global Advisory Services Pvt. Ltd., who discussed the essential competencies for legal careers, offering invaluable insights and practical advice. The session concluded with a Q&A, providing personalized guidance.

The program culminated in an educational visit to the High Court and Vidhan Soudha during the final three days, giving students a practical understanding of the legal system.
