The School of Commerce and Economics at Presidency University organized the “Mega Business Mela” on May 21, 2024. The event was graced by chief guests Mr. Nikhil Jain, Founder and CEO, Vision Astraa Startup Academy, Mr. Jince Thomas, National Head, Department of Sales, Interrni International Pvt. Ltd., and key officials Dr. Sameena Noor Ahmed Panali, Registrar, Dr. Kavitha Mathad, Dean, School of Commerce and Economics, and Dr. Aisha Banu, HOD, Commerce and Economics.

The esteemed chief guests, Mr. Jince Thomas and Mr. Nikhil Jain, who addressed the students, highlighted the significant aspects of business and emphasized the importance of taking risks at an early stage.

The event had 25 student teams showcasing innovative ideas across about 24 stalls, including food, clothing, accessories, gaming, bags, and more. The event also featured dance, music, and other cultural performances.

The event concluded with the chief guest, Nikhil Jain, and registrar, Dr. Sameena, awarding the winners exciting cash prizes.
