The Legal services Clinic, Presidency School of Law organised an educational visit to Vidhana Soudha, Bengaluru, for the new batch of students on June 30, 2025, as part of their Orientation Programme 2025. The objective of the visit was to provide students with a practical understanding of legislative functioning and encouraging civic engagement at the beginning of their legal education.

The students were warmly welcomed and addressed by Dr. G. Vishvanatha, Private Secretary to the Hon’ble Chairman of the Karnataka Legislative Council, who shared valuable insights into the functioning of the State Legislature, the legislative process, and the role of legal professionals in upholding democratic values.

This visit fostered awareness, responsibility, and a deeper understanding of the legal and constitutional framework among the future legal professionals.
