Dr. Vinodhini Chinnaswamy, Associate Professor of English, Department of Languages, participated and represented India in the 36th Malaysian International Open Master Athletics Championships held at Stadium Mini MSN, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on October 12-13, 2024.

Showcasing remarkable performance competing with athletes from 18 countries, she secured a silver medal in discus throw and a bronze medal in high jump.
