Presidency School of Law hosted a guest lecture titled "Introduction to GST Law" on October 22, 2024. The key speaker was Adv. Mehul Mor, Tax Consultant and Litigator, HNA & Co LLP, Bengaluru. With his extensive expertise in indirect taxes, he provided students with valuable insights into India's unified taxation system, constitutional framework, legislative provisions, and practical application of the GST law.Through his presentation, he also elaborated on the basic concepts of GST, tax slab structure, and compliance mechanism with practical examples from his experience.

Dean Saroj Sharma's concluding remarks emphasized the career possibilities in GST practice, and Professor Vahibaya Kali's speech acknowledged the session's significant contribution to the professional development of the students.This academic initiative reinforces the college's commitment to bridging theoretical knowledge and practical expertise to prepare students for excellence in the legal profession.
