Eligibility
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Engineering (B.E/B. Tech) from any recognized Indian university or a foreign university approved by UGC/AIU. Candidates are also required to submit the score details of any State/Central Entrance Examination or Presidency University admission qualifying examination for consideration. Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in their bachelor's degree. For candidates belonging to SC/ST and other Reserved Categories, the required aggregate marks are 45%.
Programme Overview
The Product Design and Development specialization is designed for graduates’ eager to master the tools and concepts of product design and development. Students will learn about the relevant technologies, creativity and design, form and function, project management, customer-focused innovation and research, as well as the required management skills. The program is aimed at producing technically trained professionals who can pursue careers in the design and development of new products as designers or managers.

Programme Educational Objectives
After two years of successful completion of the program, the graduates shall be:
PEO 1: To prepare graduates who will be successful professionals in industry, government, academia, research, entrepreneurial pursuit and consulting firms.
