Mr. Debmalya Bhattacharjee has been intensely engaged in the domains of Entrepreneurship Education, Incubation Management, Training & Development, Teaching & Administration and Hospitality Operations for more than 2 decades.
He is an “Entrepreneurship Education Consultant”, certified with honors by Stanford Technology Ventures Program(STVP), Stanford University, in the year 2009.

In between 2007-2014, Debmalya has played a pivotal role in establishing the brand of National Entrepreneurship Network(NEN)-Wadhwani Foundation, in more than 12 cities in India, by working closely with most of the national level learning institutions, the likes of IITs and IIMs, to enhance their capacity in entrepreneurship education resulting in formation of Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Centres(IEDC) and Technology Business Incubators(TBI).
He has strengthened partnerships between many academic institutions and government and non-government entrepreneurship entities such as TIE, Descon, MSME, HEN, Madras Chamber of Commerce, CODISSIA, FAB Women, Ficci Flo, BYST, and NASSCOM and has supported over 15,000+ entrepreneurs till date.
He has been instrumental in developing and delivering a series of programs and services for Ministry of MSME, National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) etc.

During his last assignment with SME Development Fund in Muscat-Oman, Debmalya has developed & co-delivered ‘Certified Entrepreneurship Educator’ program in association with Ministry of Higher Education-Oman, for college entrepreneurship faculty, in collaboration with international universities in the likes of, Harvard Business School, London Business School, Babson Global, NUS-Singapore and many more.

He has been a speaker at forums such as Confederation of Indian Industry’s(CII) Higher Education Meets, IIM Calcutta and many more along with other eminent personalities, and has conducted Entrepreneurship Leaders’ workshops held at IIM Calcutta.
He has also been a Judge at IIM Calcutta, for “i2I” Grand Finale, a PAN India Business Plan competition held at IIMs all across India.
He has mentored many start up ideas from IIT Kanpur who have grown to become successful and robust companies.

A traveller at heart and bitten by the bug in his early years, he has travelled extensively and wishes to travel further, to tick off the list of all 196 countries in the world.
He is a volunteer at Isha Foundation and currently engaged intensely in the “Save Soil” outreach program.
