Program Overview
Mechanical Engineering is one of the oldest and core branch of engineering discipline. The modern industrial world is moving to area of custom build from mass production. This requires concepts of rapid prototyping using 3D printing. This specialization within the framework of undergraduate mechanical engineering program has been designed to meet the demands of fourth industry revolution.
This specialization offers courses in additive manufacturing processes, 3D printing, rapid prototyping and specialized materials. Appropriate skills and knowledge regarding the digital process steps of the additive manufacturing (AM) design workflow, define AM design considerations, and apply additive manufacturing design principles to standard design features are gained from this program.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA for B.Tech
