Presidency University believes in creating a home away from home for both domestic and foreign students to enjoy the hospitality and fully concentrate on their academics. The university has provided excellent hostel facilities for boys and girls.

At present, there are three hostels for boys and girls. Each hostel has twin-shared and triple-shared rooms. Each room comprises bed cots, a study table and chairs, cupboards, free Wi-Fi, etc.

Amenities include an independent dining area, laundry rooms, common rooms with TV for entertainment, and indoor and outdoor game facilities. Hot and cold, purified drinking water facilities are provided in all hostels. The university has tie-ups with the best caterers, who provide wholesome and nutritious vegetarian and nonvegetarian dishes to the students four times a day.

All the hostels have a round-the-clock security system that includes 24-hour security at all entry points and on the premises and CCTV surveillance. There are four wardens stationed at the girls’ hostel who are supervised by a resident officer. Each boys’ hostel is taken care of by two wardens. All hostels provided by the university fall under the student housing department.

Boys’ and girls’ hostels have a medical room with a nurse available all night for any medical assistance. In case of an emergency, ambulances will be available to take the patient to nearby hospitals for further medical care.

Transport facilities are provided to girls during weekends and on holidays to go to nearby Yelahanka New Town for shopping. Additionally, recreational trips, sports and cultural events are to be included in the upcoming academic years.

Keeping in view future needs, a new state-of-the-art boys’ hostel block has been built, which includes four separate wings to accommodate 1700 students near the University campus.

The hostel will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Random allotments for hostels and rooms will be made. Rooms and hostels, once allotted, cannot be changed.
