Dr.(Prof.) Beeran Moidin B.M, Registrar, Presidency University, is a multi faceted and a positive personality focused on creating progressive and collaborative professional environments. He comes with a rich work experience of 26 years in dynamic,multi-cultural environments, in different Countries viz India, Sultanate of Oman, Dubai( United Arab Emirates) and Africa.

He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and an MBA from Mangalore University. He holds a Doctorate in the area of Third Sector and Socio-Economic Development from the Faculty of Management Studies, Kannur University. He is NET qualified in Management Studies, holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management , Computer Application and MA in Economics.

He started his career in Marketing and moved up as a Sales and Marketing Manager in the Corporate, however his inclination towards Academics directed him to work in the capacity of an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor. His last stint was as Director in Center for Management Studies in P A Educational trust, Mangalore. He has published a number of papers in National and International Journals. He also continues to guide Doctoral students in Management Studies of Visvesaraya Technological University, Belgaum.

He is a member of Board of Studies of PG Diploma in Management at St. Aloysius (Autonomous) College, Mangalore , and has been earlier on the Board of Examiners of Visvesaraya Technological University, St.Aloysius MBA program, Mangalore and K S Hegde Institute of Management Studies , NITTE. He has conducted Guest Lectures at Mangalore University for students of Master of Computer Application and Master of Tourism Administration Programs.

He is the recipient of Yenepoya Academic Excellence Award 2012 in recognition of his Academic merit. As an Academic and Administrative leader actively associated with NGO’s in Community and Societal development, he gives great importance to Institutional Social Responsibility.
