Dr. K. Krishna Kumar, a financial services industry professional turned academician, brings thirty years of industry and academic experience. Over his twenty-year career in the industry, he specialized in areas of equity markets, wealth management, and personal financial planning holding strategic positions.

In the past ten years, he has held notable positions, including Head, School of Commerce, Alliance University, and Associate Dean, School of Management, Presidency University. Dr. Krishna Kumar’s teaching and research interests focus on investments and financial markets. He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce and a bachelor’s degree in law from Bangalore University, a Masters in Financial Analysis from ICFAI University, and a doctorate in management from ICFAI University, Jharkhand.

Notably, he was among the first batch of Certified Financial Planners (CFP) in India.
