The LLM programs at the School of Law, Presidency University reflects a strong commitment to helping students combine traditionally taught courses with in-depth seminars, hands-on field experience, and skills training for a complete approach to legal education. Introduced from the AY 2019-20, it is 2 semester, One Year Master Programme in two specializations viz;

Law today is faced with unprecedented challenges due to issues like cloud computing and biotechnological inventions, big data and traditional knowledge which raise questions related to the continuous need to define an optimal interface between law and technology. Similarly, Intellectual Property law has become a central factor in economic, scientific and societal/moral decisions.

The curriculum aims to provide an in-depth understanding of the classical topics of Intellectual Property law as well as a specialized analysis of the latest developments in the fields of patents, trademarks, domain names, copyright and related rights, design, software and databases, the internet and e-commerce.
