Presidency University, in association with the Bengaluru Chamber of Industry and Commerce and Welingkar Education (We School, Bengaluru), hosted its second HR Conclave at the Hotel Taj, MG Road. After the success of the first HR conclave in October 2023, this edition saw the participation from over hundred HR professionals from prominent industries like IT and ITES, FMCG, BFSI. The event aimed to bring together the HR community from across industries for discussions, deliberations and networking.

 

The panel discussion focused on diversity, inclusivity, and equity at the workplace. Esteemed panelists included Ms. Vinaya Chinnappa, CEO of Incluzza, Enable India Solutions, and a panel of four esteemed HR professionals, Mr. Das Suryawanshi, State Commissioner, Rights of People with Physical Disabilities, Ms. Sai Kavitha, Director, CSS Digital Transformation—Data & AI, Microsoft, Ms. Shonalie Gupta, Founder, The People IQ, and Prof. Krishna Durbha, Professor of Practice, Area Chair—Analytics, School of Management, Presidency University. They shared their experiences in hiring and working with individuals from diversified backgrounds.

 

Key officials of Presidency University including Dr. Anubha Singh, Vice Chancellor in-charge, Dr. M. Dhanamjaya, Pro Vice Chancellor – Administration, Dr. Mrinmoy Biswas Registrar – Accreditations & Corporate Relations, Dr. K. Srinivasan-Dean, School of Management & Dr. Arul M J-Director, School of Management, were present at the event and interacted with the distinguished speakers and guests.

 

The conclave provided an excellent opportunity for the HR community to discuss challenges and explore new policies at the workplace that enhance organizational culture.
