Twenty-one students from the self-employed tailoring course at the Presidency Foundation Skill Development Center visited the School of Design, Presidency University, for a workshop on February 6, 2024, with support from Mr. Bhaskar Mitra, Director, School of Design.
The design faculty, Ms. Suvidha and Mr. Shahul Hameed, interacted with the students on the various design aspects of fashion. They also evaluated the different artworks created by the students and provided feedback while briefing them on the skills required for setting up a new business as a creative artist. The intricacies of handling social media accounts were explained, which will help them market their products online.
The workshop was conceptualized and executed by the ISR Team led by Sameet Joshi and Sudha Rajagopalan.
