Dr. Fauziah Ahmad

Prof. Fauziah Ahmad holds a PhD in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK. Prof. Ahmad has done extensive research work in the areas of slope stability, landslides, ground improvement, and urban geoinformatics. She is credited with numerous patents and has authored several publications. Prof. Ahmad has also worked as a consultant for national and international agencies for various infrastructure projects and has received research grants worth 1 million USD.

Currently, Prof. Ahmad works as an honorary professor at the School of Civil Engineering, Universiti Sans Malaysia (USM), Malaysia. She also serves as the President of the Asia Pacific Women Inventors and Innovators Network (APWIIN) and the Malaysian Chapter of the International Geosynthetic Society (IGS).
