The Presidency University fraternity came together to celebrate Founder’s Day on February 9, 2024, in honor of Dr. Nissar Ahmed, the Honorable Chancellor, Presidency University and Chairman of the Presidency Group of Institutions, Bangalore.
Dr. Sameena Noor Ahmed Panali, Registrar, welcomed the Leadership Team, Faculty, and Administrative members with a note on the significance of the Founder’s Day.
Dr. Anubha Singh, Vice Chancellor, in her address, exhorted the audience to translate the Chancellor’s vision into reality and to positively touch the lives of students and the community at large.
The Honorable Chancellor, Dr. Nissar Ahmed, in his heartfelt speech, walked down the memory lane, sharing anecdotes from his professional journey and personal life, expressed gratitude to his Family, friends, well-wishers, and the Presidency family for being the pillars of support throughout this journey.
A delightful video presentation on the milestones and memorable moments of his life and growth of Presidency took the audience on a path of nostalgia.
The employees who completed five years were felicitated with Long Service Awards with a note of appreciation for their efforts. Cultural performances by students and faculty added more cheer to this special occasion.
