Dr. Jayakrishna Udupa H has obtained his graduate, post graduate and doctoral degrees from Bangalore University. The doctoral thesis is on ‘Estimation of Performance Measures in M/M/1 Queue with Admissibility and Inadmissibility Results Relative to Balanced Loss Function’. With more than 25 years of teaching experience, he has worked at Christ University, Bangalore, CMR University, Bangalore, Dayananda Sagar University, Bangalore, Reva University, Bangalore, M P Birla Institute of Management, Bangalore and Bhavan’s Priyamvada Devi Birla Institute of Management, Mysore. Taught courses in Statistics and Operations research to undergraduate and post graduate students. A paper titled ‘Best unbiased estimation and CAN property in M/M/1 queue’ is published in Communications in Statistics- Theory and Methods with Dr. V. Srinivas. Presented a paper in the international conference at University of Pune, and a paper each in national conferences at Shivaji University and Bangalore University. Has visited Mzumbe University, Tanzania and has taught Applied Business Statistics course to students of Master’s program in Applied Economics and Business for two consecutive batches. Has been a resource person for Two Day State level Seminar on “Statistical Methods for Practice” at St. Agnes College, Mangalore and Three Day National Workshop on Data Analysis Using SPSS at Christ University, Bangalore. He has attended several conferences, workshops and seminars at Bangalore University, Mysore University, Pune University, Kolhapur University and Banaras Hindu University.
